Gone with the wind : Trailer

@ Hospital

When we went out of the church about two days ago, we went back there to get our stuff and there was a group of children there with a teacher. The church suddenly caught fire, we did not know how, but it did and the teacher started shouting out for two of her kids who were actually in the church. Pony and I ran in to get them, we were ducking and dodging the fire and we got to the kids, we threw them out and I could see Pony jump too, but I do not quite remember, but I got stuck somewhere and I started to scream out for help. I saw Dally jumping inside the church and I instantly fainted, and the next thing I knew I was in a hospital bed with a ton of tubes attached to my body, I did not look tough and tuff anymore. I could see my mom arguing with a nurse for her to see me, and I did not really care for her anymore, but when I saw my friends I started jumping and creaming for them to help me, inside of my mind of course. I saw dally was also full of bruises, but he could walk around, I was happy to see him well.

Church w/ Pony

        We arrived here at the church about five days ago, when we were fleeing from the cops. These days have been the longest of my life. Ponyboy already owes me more than 200 bucks in poker loses, and we are already halfway through "Gone With the Wind", Pony is probably going to watch the movie later. Yesterday I had to go fetch some supplies in a nearby store, and when I came back, I had also bought some razors and bleach for us to change our hair styles to make it harder for the police to find us. The church we are at is awfully close to the main road, so we usually stick out back in the footsteps or sitting in the windows, smoking or drinking are our two biggest time killers. Dally also came to take a look at us, and then he told us that the cops think we headed out to Texas, so we were good to get out of there. Pony, Dally and I went to a near restaurant and we ate like animals, since we were rationing our recourses at the church. I thought of getting out of our gang, I couldn't take it anymore, but I decided not to, since Pony and I were getting along so well.

Running Away

Last night, I was in the closet of my parent's room after I disrespected them, when I started to hear things being banged on the window and screams that sounded very familiar. To my surprise, it was Pony, he told me we were running away to some place no one would find us. We ran and ran until we got to the park, it was already night so no one was there, except a group of socs who started following us. Pony told me to run, but to no avail they caught us. We started fighting back and when they started rounding me up, I pulled my knife out and killed Bob, one of the socs. They all ran away from me, just like my dignity and will to live. We went directly to where Dally usually stayed, the rodeo. When we got there, I told him I had killed a soc and he freaked out, so he gave us some money and we went to an old church, I did not really know where it was, but it was next to an astonishing valley. When we arrived, we both went next to the steps of the stairs and slept very closely in the sleeping bags since we needed all the heat we could get.

The Nightly Double

Last night, Pony, Dally and I were bored so we decided to go to the biggest drive-in cinema in town, the Nighty Double. It screened two movies per night, and if you were not in a vehicle, it only costs around a dollar, but when you are with Dallas Winston, you know you aren't going to do things the legal way. So we jumped the fence in the back and got in, there was only us and two feminine socs. Dally sat right behind them, and started talking loudly for them to hear. I went out to get a coke and I could see that they started socializing, all four of them, and the redhead (our school's cheerleader) was called Sherri Valance. The girls liked rodeos and things greasers usually did, so I could see that they did not belong to the socs. Dally started getting closer and closer to the girls, so that's when I darted over and stopped him. It was making me very unconfortable, and he just stared at me with a completely blank.
